Luiana Plains Expedition Camp

The Camp offers an authentic “Expedition-style” experience and balances raw adventure with essential comfort. Electrical charging point, fan and warm water will be available in each of the 10 Meru tents.

Starting with a soft opening in June 2026 and full operations in 2027.

Capacity: 10 Tented Suites and 2 Guide tents with private en-suite bathrooms.

Facilities: A central main area housing a lounge, dining space, and bar, acting as the social hub of the camp.

Sustainability: The camp is constructed on strict sustainable principles. The infrastructure is designed to have a minimal physical footprint, ensuring the ecosystem remains undisturbed.

How to get to the Camp?
The camp utilises an informal border, located not far from Kongola and 120Km from Katima Mulilo in the Namibian Zambezi Region (Caprivi Strip) and 320 from Victoria Falls.

From the border to the Camp there is a 4×4 only road and it takes around a 2h drive. 4×4 transfers will be organised by the Camp at fixed times. No Self-Drive.

There are charter flight options to Kongola area via Katima Mulilo for clearance.

Guest Experience: Activities will include Game Drives, Night Drives, Guided Nature Walks, and Boat Cruises, offering guests exclusive access to a region that is a new tourist destination.
